The Beaujolais Region – Home of Gamay and Vibrant Wines

WINES OF CHARACTER / BEAUJOLAIS

The Beaujolais region, nestled in the southern part of Burgundy, is famous for its lively and fruit-forward wines, primarily made from the Gamay grape. This picturesque area is defined by rolling hills, granite soils, and a temperate climate that nurtures the distinct freshness and vibrancy of its wines. With a focus on natural winemaking methods, Beaujolais wines are loved for their approachability and their ability to age gracefully, especially the prestigious Crus of the region.

Appellation :

Beaujolais, Beaujolais Villages, and 10 Crus such as Morgon, Fleurie, and Moulin-à-Vent, each with unique terroirs contributing to the diversity and character of Beaujolais wines.
